Representing a major new product range for Denby, the Company’s Design Team have created a unique shaped range of Cast Iron Casseroles, a Griddle and an Omelette Pan suitable for all cooking methods including gas, ceramic, electric and induction hobs and ovens up to a temperature of 250°c.
Denby Cast Iron is crafted from cast molten iron and enamelled inside and out producing a stunning finish. The range is durable and energy efficient being fast to heat up, retaining the heat and so keeps food warmer for longer. Cast Iron also has excellent heat diffusion which is ideal for slow cooking.
There are subtle design finishes such as the underside of the casserole lids feature two raised rings which aids basting – as steam condenses and runs to the next ring and then returns to the pot rather than running to the lid edge. Handles have been carefully designed and are well balanced and comfortable to assist handling.
Available in distinctive shades of Cherry Red, Jet Satin Black, Azure and Imperial Blue this is an exciting addition to the Denby range. The Cast Iron pieces are clearly branded with embossed ‘Denby’ across the lid and the capacities of the casseroles are also stamped under the lids. Of course, being Denby, the Cast Iron range is dishwasher and freezer safe and carries a lifetime guarantee.
