Demeyere cookware uses advanced technology

The company has recently introduced to the UK the new John Pawson collection of Demeyere (a Zwilling company with the Demeyere factory manufacturing the cookware in Belgium) stainless steel cookware.

Leading English designer and architect John Pawson has conceived the exclusive, minimalist style cookware collection for Demeyere, which is recognised as being amongst the best designed heat-conductive stainless steel cookware available.

The new 18/10 stainless steel cookware collection features a seven-layer base, InductorSeal, incorporating a copper disc and providing a conductive surface which is 33% larger than a traditional base.

For sauté and frypans, a multi-layered material, 7 PlyMaterial, is incorporated right up to the edge of the pan. This advanced technology comprises seven alloys, including stainless steel and an aluminium core, the total thickness of the layers being engineered to achieve the correct temperature for the typical cooking process of any given pan.

The double-sided construction of the lid ensures the lid handle remains cool in use.

All products are dishwasher-resistant and finished with Silvinox to ensure the product remains silvery white, even after years of dishwashing, and to be fingerprint-free.

Retail price examples 16cm saucepan with lid, £189; 20cm stockpot with lid, £261
