Deadline extended to enter The Housewares Innovation Awards 2018!

We know how busy you are so we’ve given you a little bit of extra time to get your Housewares Innovation Awards entries in.

We can now accept retailer entries and nominations to Thursday November 2 and supplier entries to Friday October 27.

But please note that this will be the only extension this year, so don’t delay any longer.

Organised annually by Housewares Magazine and www.HousewaresLive.net in conjunction with Spring Fair, the Awards commend the cream of the UK’s housewares industry.

There are 23 awards up for grabs, including four brand new categories introduced for 2018 to reflect the changing landscape of the housewares industry. There is something for everyone – so there has never been a better time to enter.

The new categories are:

*Best Staff Training, sponsored by Dexam, will highlight companies that provide ongoing product training to staff, ensuring that consumers are presented with the relevant knowledge and advice to inform their purchasing decisions;

*Best In-Store Demonstrations, sponsored by School of Wok, will honour retailers who demonstrate a creative and proactive approach to sales by hosting in-store demonstrations;

*Best Hospitality Wholesaler, sponsored by KitchenCraft, will recognise wholesalers that are expanding by providing housewares products for the foodservice industry;

*Best New Supplier will give up-and-coming companies who have launched within the past 18 months a chance to shine.

Returning categories for retailers to enter are Best Independent Department Store, Best Multiple Housewares Retailer, Best Independent Cookshop, Best Rising Star, Best Window Display, Best Multiple Garden Retailer Award, Best Independent Garden Retailer and Best Housewares Retail Buyer.

We will once again honour the most innovative products that have been launched onto the UK market over the past 12 months (between September 2016 and September 2017). The seven categories are: Bakeware, Cookware, Kitchenware, Small Electricals, Food Preparation, Packaging and Tabletop.

There are also awards for the Best Wholesaler, Best Housewares Salesperson, Best Service – and the highly coveted Kitchen Hero.

For full details and entry/nomination forms, go to www.HousewaresInnovationAwards.com.

The results will be announced at a prestigious evening ceremony on Monday February 5 at The National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham.
