Following months of development work, housewares chain Lakeland has launched its Davina for Lakeland range, designed in collaboration with TV presenter Davina McCall.
A keen home cook and Lakeland fan, Davina’s passion for good food and healthy eating has led to her teaming up with the retailer to design and launch her first signature housewares range.
Commenting on the launch, Davina said: “I love to cook healthy, tasty meals for my family, and having the right tools for the job is a huge part of being able to do that. I wanted to bring out a range of products that could show you that you can be super busy and be healthy at the same time.
“I’m so excited to be doing this with Lakeland; I wanted to make sure that we had great quality products at a really good price and we’ve done exactly that.”
Lakeland buying director Matthew Canwell added: “Lakeland has a huge range of products to help our customers eat and cook more healthily at home, and we’re always looking to develop and extend our ranges.
“Davina’s passion and enthusiasm for helping consumers enjoy a healthy and balanced lifestyle is very much in keeping with our own and we’ve loved working together on the development of this new range of products to make healthy eating easier.”
The full range comprises Personal Blender (£29.99), Spiral Vegetable Cutter (£9.99), Crinkle Cutter (£6.99), Grater (£11.99), Kitchen Scissors (£3.99), Paring Knife (£3.99) and Y-Shaped Peeler (£4.99).
Lakeland operates 69 stores nationwide in the UK, 12 stores in the Middle East and a further three in India. Summer 2013 saw the Lakeland brand launch in Germany, with a dedicated German website lakeland.de.
