David Barrett, sales and marketing manager of Pendeford Housewares, passed away on Saturday May 17 after a short illness.
Managing director Ralph Humphries told HousewaresLive.net: “It was a pleasure for all of us at Pendeford Housewares to have known and worked with David for nearly 10 years. He was a valued member of the team and a true gentleman. David was loyal and hard working, nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble for him.”
He added: “Among his passions were his family, of whom he was very proud, and of course football refereeing, where he was well known and respected in local circles, having dedicated many years to refereeing on the amateur scene. David will be sadly missed by us all.”
The funeral is expected to be held next week, and all are welcome to attend. Further details will be announced when available.
