Nine UK cookshop retailers enjoyed learning more about Scanpan cookware on a recent trip to Denmark organised by UK distributor Haus.

Danish Scanpan visit for cookshop retailers

Visiting the Scanpan factory in Ryomgaard were Anne Blackie of La Cuisinere, Denise Gilbert of Kitchenmonger, Jacqui Bennett from Cooks of Trentham, James Taylor of Peter Maturi, Jo Woolliams from Chilli Peppers, Kate Livingstone of The Food Company, Katherine Luck of Cooks Collection and Mary Shuttle from David Shuttle, along with Paul Shelley and Andrew Loughlin from Haus.

During their trip the retailers reviewed the latest launches – Konik, IQ and Commercial – and received product training on the new brands. They also toured the factory and saw the various manufacturing and quality control processes that Scanpan products go through, and the visitors even had a chance to cast their own aluminium pan.

Paul Shelley, Haus’ managing director, said: ‘It was a wonderful trip: it’s great for the retailers to gain a better understanding of the brand and to see why we at Haus are so passionate about it.”
