The competition kicks off in the contestants’ own kitchens. The pairs cook a three-course restaurant standard meal against the clock for their rival teams and the judges to critique and score. Dishes served late will have points taken off.’

At the end of each weekly regional heat, the action moves to Kitchen HQ. The highest scoring team of the region wins immunity and goes through to the next leg, while the middle ranking teams cook off against each other. But the lowest scoring team from each region will be eliminated.

With the eight remaining teams in the competition, the cooking challenges intensify at Kitchen HQ. But only the best team can walk away with the prize money and say ‘My Kitchen Rules’.
