Credit insurer won’t cover House of Fraser

Credit insurer Atradius is refusing to cover suppliers to House of Fraser.
According to this weekend’s Independent on Sunday, Britain’s biggest credit insurer says it will not underwrite policies for suppliers to the department store company as it has concerns about its performance.

However, the newspaper says that some other credit insurers are looking to increase their cover.

House of Fraser’s banks are expected to relax their lending terms to allow the retailer to restructure its debt.
