Creative Tops hires new sales force

Housewares supplier Creative Tops has strengthened its sales team with the recruitment of a new UK sales manager and four new area sales managers.

Creative Tops managing director Pat Dawson said: “We are delighted to welcome our new sales team. These new appointments will enable us to strengthen our core independent business by delivering a wider range of products to our customers.”

Heading up the sales operation is UK sales manager Andrew Leggett, who has

spent many years working for companies such as Meyer/Prestige, Grunwerg, Morphy Richards and Kitchen Craft.

“Andrew knows the housewares industry very well indeed,” said Pat Dawson. “He has a tremendous passion for this great industry of ours and is extremely knowledgeable about its workings. He has headed up sales operations both large and small and has huge experience in ensuring that the best possible level of service is met and maintained – something that is key to our future success.”

Irene Grant is the new area sales manager for Scotland and Ireland. Having worked for companies such as Edinburgh Crystal and Arthur Price, she is already familiar with many Creative Tops customers both North & South of the border.

Dave Barnes is the new area sales manager for the North. He has spent many years in the industry with companies such as Pimpernel and Ultimate Products and is looking forward to working and reconnecting with many of his customers.

Jon Marks is the new area sales manager for the Midlands. Already well established and well known to most Creative Tops customers, he joins from Emma Bridgewater, having formerly spent 15 years with Edinburgh Crystal.

Finally, Richard is the new area sales manager for the south of England. He has huge experience of the housewares and tableware industry, having spent the last 10 years performing a similar role for Emma Bridgewater. Prior to this, Richard worked for Cole and Mason.

“Again,” Pat Dason said,”Richard is extremely well known to many customers and brings with him a tremendous hunger and determination to work closer with our customers.”
