Salter Housewares has introduced a range of kitchen knives under its new Salter Professional brand.
The Pro Sharp System knives are forged from hardened, high-carbon German stainless steel and feature a one-piece, full-tang blade and non-slip Santoprene handles. The knives are packaged in tamper-proof gift boxes and will be supported by an advertising and PR campaign in consumer food-interest titles. To complement the range there is also a new electric knife sharpener. The patented design uses 20 ceramic pins positioned crosswise in a wheel that rotates, the pins ensuring that the knife is held at the correct angle.
