Exhibition organiser Clarion Events says its new online buyer’s directory, Buy&Beyond, attracted over 10,000 visits in its first month alone.

Launched at Top Drawer in September, www.buyandbeyond.com is designed to act as an extension of Clarion Events’ retail trade shows, providing buyers with comprehensive listings of suppliers and products that can be accessed online at any time.

The website’s directory covers home, gift, fashion, jewellery, stationery and greetings, children’s and bath and body sectors. Visitors to the site can refine their searches to specific brands, product sectors and styles.

Buy&Beyond also contains information about new designers and emerging trends, and the surgery section offers tutorials in how to improve key parts of a retail business such as online sales, customer service and press coverage.

Clarion says the site has attracted an impressive cross-section of retailers in its first few weeks, from independents to leading department stores including John Lewis, Harrods and Fenwick.
