Whilst many networking opportunities in the housewares industry have had to move online, there have still been plenty of benefits for suppliers and successes for those behind the scenes. As we slowly make our way back to normality, with non-essential retail open as of 12th April, there is hope on the horizon for future face-to-face events.
Claire Budgen, commercial and marketing director at Lifetime Brands Europe, commented “At the start of the year we were all looking for new ways to ‘meet virtually’ and Spring Fair @ Home provided the industry with a boost and a great way to stay connected with retailers.
The digital product showcase provided us with an additional online platform to showcase highlights from our substantial new launches for Spring Summer. It was also great to see a dedicated Sustainability Library that allowed us to champion our eco-friendly brand, Natural Elements, a unique proposition that uses natural materials to provide retailers with a one-stop-shop to offer sustainable kitchen and home solutions to increasingly mindful consumers.
Whilst we look forward to getting back to the buzz of trade shows, it’s great to see that the Spring Fair @ Home platform remains available as a resource on-demand.”
