Britain’s Best Retailer Awards 2010 has attracted another high-profile name as sponsor – Charles Bentley.
The UK’s leading brushware specialist has puts its name to the Britain’s Best Multiple Housewares Retailer category in the awards, which give recognition to the top retailers in the housewares and associated home enhancement sectors.
Commenting on the sponsorship, managing director Charles Bentley said: “Bentley is delighted to be appointed as a sponsor for Britain’s Best Retailer Awards 2010.
“It seemed only fitting to celebrate our 150th year by sponsoring this event, recognising the achievements and rewarding the efforts in the retail industry which we as manufacturers and suppliers depend on for our success.
“The awards acknowledge the high standards achieved in retailing – standards that are demanded by all our customers, and which are necessary not only for businesses to survive in today’s market but for them to actually grow, to be a success and an example in our respective roles, and in doing so setting benchmarks for others to emulate and try to surpass.
“As the country turns once again to its producers and retail outlets to boost the economy, we look forward to finding out just who those winners and Best Retailers are this year and especially to meet and welcome friends old and new at the Awards evening.”
Sponsors of the other housewares categories are EPE, backing Britain’s Best Independent Department Store, and Denby, which has put its name to the Britain’s Best Cookshop category.
There is still time to reserve your place at the awards dinner, when the coveted Silver and overall Gold winners will be revealed.
The black tie event, at the Manchester Hilton Deansgate on November 11, promises an excellent meal and first-class entertainment from compere, comic actor Steve Furst, as well as the chance to network with a host of retailers and suppliers.
