Charle Viancin names its small indie retailer of the year winner

Charles Viancin has named The Kitchen Cupboard cookshop of Ledbury in Herefordshire as the winner of its Small Independent Retailer of the Year Award 2015, for selling the largest volume of Charles Viancin products in 2014.

The Kitchen Cupboard proprietor Sue Edwards (pictured middle) was presented with a plaque of achievement, flowers and champagne by Charles Viancin UK ceo Peter Battersby and recent winner of the Housewares Innovation Awards 2015’ Salesperson of the Year category, Geraldine Finnan.

Sue Edwards said: “I’m absolutely delighted to receive this award. I first saw the product at the Spring Fair last year, and had no idea how successful it would be.

“It’s the bestselling new product range that I’ve had in my 29 years of running the shop. I’m not sure how many lids I’ve sold, but it’s certainly a few thousand. I have been re-ordering on a weekly basis”.

Charles Viancin will announce the winner of its Large Independent Retailer Award in July.
