Homeware retailer Cath Kidston is set to open its biggest ever store – and its first ever flagship – in central London, just in time for Christmas.

Doors open to the new shop, which will offer 7,000sq ft of retail space over three floors at 180 Piccadilly, in December. It will sit next to Fortnum & Mason department store and overlook the Royal Academy of Arts.
“You’ll be walking through our home of modern vintage room by room,” the company said. “We have all sorts planned, including a vintage furniture section, a basement theatre space hosting all of our events and crafting workshops and, from early next year, the much-anticipated Cath’s Café.”
Currently there are 59 Cath Kidston stores and concessions in the UK and Ireland and 54 across Spain, Japan, Republic of korea, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong and China.
Recent UK store openings include a pop-up store at Heathrow Terminal 3, which mae its debut on June 13; and a branch in Leamington Spa, which opened on April 25.
The latter launch coincided with Cath Kidston’s 20th birthday. To celebrate, the retailer brought out a special limited edition range called ‘Coming Up Roses,’ which joins the established collections of homeware, bags, accessories, fashion, kidswear and one-off vintage pieces.
According to the chain, today more than 50% of British women aged between 16 and 65 are aware of the Cath Kidston brand.
