Cath Kidston’s first cookbook has just been published by Quadrille, entitled ‘Teatime: 50 Cakes and Bakes For Every Occasion’.
The fashion designer, businesswoman and author, whose company Cath Kidston Limited sells home furnishings and related goods in over 160 stores worldwide, is well known for her vintage-inspired floral patterns.
She also authored several craft titles including ‘Sew!’, ‘Make!’ and ‘Patch!’ which have sold over 1.5 million copies to date worldwide but this is her first foray into cooking and baking.
‘Teatime’ includes 50 sweet and savoury recipes for bakes, with sections on classic afternoon tea, picnic tea, school fetes, bake sales and celebrations.
The recipes are described as unique and simple to follow, using easy-to-find ingredients. ‘With tips on perfect styling as well as cooking know-how, ‘Teatime’ is the ideal book for baking novices and experts alike,’ the publisher said.
