New candle distributor For Every Body has won a local award for innovation and creating employment.
The company, launched by Paul Travis last October, scooped the Best New Business Award for March, sponsored by Lloyds TSB, Turner Peachey Accountants, Chamber of Commerce and the Shropshire Star newspaper.
The award gives the company access to funding supported by Lloyds TSB, free membership of the Chamber of Commerce and PR by the Shropshire Star group, including a feature on the company in the business pages.
For Every Body supplies a range of scented soy candles presented in tins and jars, and featuring decorative toppings.
Commenting on the award, Travis said: “We’ve all worked hard at the company in difficult times and to get such an award so early in the life of For Every Body is fantastic and is a great boost for me and my team here in Shropshire.
“We do have an innovative range and are working hard to gain distribution throughout the UK for the brand.”
