The Vending Industry Awards are taking place in two months and Housewares Magazine’s sister title ‘Vending International Magazine’ needs your help.
Most places of work have a vending machine and somebody responsible for it, and ‘Vending International Magazine’ would like to hear from them.
Is there an operator out there that does a fabulous job? Which ‘hero brands’ are a guaranteed hit? And how do you separate the best from the rest when there is so much to choose from?
Now is the chance to highlight the brands, people, operators and services of the future by nominating them for awards. Visit www.vendingindustryawards.co.uk to download a nomination form for the Vending Company Awards and the Individual Awards.
This year, the first Vending Industry Awards will be launched by one of the largest independently owned publishers in the UK Datateam Business Media, in partnership with the Automatic Vending Association (AVA), AVEX 13 and Vending International Magazine. Designed to celebrate the world of vending, the event will take place on the evening of Wednesday June 12 at the Hilton Metropole in Birmingham.
AVEX is the largest UK exhibition for vending and water and is attended by visitors from around the world, making it the perfect dateline to host an industry evening and celebrate with the trade who will be attending and exhibiting at the show.
Hannah Dedman, Event Director of Datateam Business Media said: “Datateam Business Media, home to Vending International magazine is, in conjunction with the Automatic Vending Association (AVA), hosting the Vending Industry Awards and Gala dinner on the evening of the 12th June following the second day of AVEX 2013. ‘Vending International Magazine’ is a media partner for the exhibition and is also the official voice of the AVA for the vending press.
“The Vending Industry Awards represents the perfect opportunity to network across the whole of the industry from manufacturers to operators, facilities managers and service providers.”
Jonathan Hilder, CEO, Automatic Vending Association (AVA) said: “I am delighted that we now have some relevant vending industry awards that highlight the fantastic job done by the ordinary employees of the vending industry, the route operators, engineers and supervisors. I believe that we can now truly recognise the talent that this industry has and the businesses that work within it.
“Working with Vending International will allow us to ensure that we have a truly memorable night whilst at the largest vending show of 2013. I look forward to seeing you all there.”
Paul Howard, AVEX Chairman added: “It’s superb that Vending International has taken on this very important and well thought out awards project. With Vending International’s support of AVEX, bringing both of these great events together makes sense and will give us all a great night to applaud the efforts of all those involved in our industry.”
