Cake International comes to Birmingham next weekend

Cake International – The Sugarcraft, Cake Decorating & Baking Show is returning to the NEC in Birmingham for its 20th year, from November 8 to November 10.

Claimed to be the world’s largest sugarcrafting, cake decorating & baking show, it attracts amateur and professional cake decorators and sugarcrafters from across the globe, who share a passion for all things cake.

Special guests include queen of baking Mary Berry, cake decorator extraordinaire Mich Turner, sugarcraft designer Stephen Benison, authors Marion Frost and Debbie Brown, and chef Paul Da Costa Greaves, plus international guest: sugarcrafting expert Bettina ‘Betty’ Schliephake-Burchardt from Germany.

Among the list of exhibitors are Falcon Products with Bake-O-Glide, Culpitt, Silikomart SRL, Knightsbridge PME, CDC (distributor of Petlcraft, The Mat and Marvelous Molds), CDA Products and Renshaw.

Show features include sugar and chocolate workshops, demonstration classes, The Renshaw School, live PME competitions, The Cake International Theatre, the Cake Decorator’s’ Kitchen and the finals of the National Cupcake Championships 2013, an annual competition that forms part of our National Cupcake Week (16-22 September 2013).
