Bunnings Warehouse opens three more stores

Home improvement and garden retailer Bunnings Warehouse opened the doors to its 23rd branch on April 4.

The new store, located on Wessex Fields at Frome in Somerset, is 47,000sq ft and offers customers a wide range of ‘global, market-leading’ brands. Services include paint mixing, key cutting, a garden centre, timber cutting and in-store DIY workshops.

To celebrate the opening, former Olympic gold medallist Amy Williams joined a welcome breakfast for staff. The store will host a weekend of events tomorrow and Sunday (April 14 and April 15), where customers can enjoy a range of family activities including the famous Bunnings Sausage Sizzle, face-painting, balloon modelling and join children’s TV character Peppa Pig for a story time session.

Bunnings Warehouse also launched three stores last month at: Roundtree Way at Sprowston in the Norfolk town of Norwich on March 28 (30,000sq ft); New Zealand Avenue at Walton-on-Thames in Surrey on March 15, on the site of the former Homebase (34,000sq ft); and Oakfield Road at Penge in south-east London on March 8 (40,000sq ft).
