Kitchen appliance specialist Britannia Living has created a range cooker in the blue and white stripes synonymous with the Cornishware brand.
The range cooker was unveiled at the recent Grand Designs show, where Cornishware also displayed a range of its tableware on the Britannia Living stand.
Grand Designs Live Birmingham 2014 took earlier this month at the NEC in Birmingham. Based on the Channel 4 TV series, and presented by design guru Kevin McCloud, the event was packed with over 500 exhibitors, across six different sections, covering interiors, gardens, food and housewares, kitchens and bathrooms, home improvement, self-build, renovations, technology and shopping.
Britannia Living marketing manager Michael Haigh commented: “Cornishware is a fantastic brand that has been producing blue and white striped crockery since 1926. By producing a range cooker in this iconic finish, we were able to generate a lot of interest in our products and also showcase our Colourange service. Colourange is a service available across all of Britannia’s range cooker families that allows customers to specify exactly what colour they would like for their Britannia range cooker.”
Liza Levy of Cornishware said: “As two Stoke-based companies, that have been placed in the centre of British kitchens for years, the partnership of Cornishware and Britannia is the perfect match. Wherever there is a Britannia range cooker, a Cornishware mug won’t be far away. The Cornishware striped oven was a big hit at the show and we are pleased as punch with it.”
The companies will exhibit together again at The Good Food Show Winter which will take place at the NEC in Birmingham from November 27-30.
