Britannia Living responds to a DIY SOS

Kitchen appliance specialist Britannia Living has donated a high-end range cooker to a family taking part in the popular home renovation television programme, ‘DIY SOS’. The episode aired on BBC One last night (Thursday December 17).

Having heard the family of five’s story, Britannia was delighted to provide them with its A-rated Q Line 90cm twin induction range cooker and a matching hood.

Michael Haigh, marketing manager of Britannia Living, commented: “DIY SOS is a fantastic programme that gives deserving families a well-earned helping hand. The Fords are a lovely family who had always wanted a range cooker, so we were more than happy to oblige.”

The show, which is presented by Nick Knowles, is committed to helping homeowners resolve their DIY distresses and create their dream home.

Michael continued: “We heard that the Fords love cooking together as a family, and with three young children – all under 10 years old – we’re certain our Q Line is a welcome addition. From baking fairy cakes to making the perfect Sunday roast we are hopeful it will help provide some wonderful family meals and memories.”

He concluded: “We’re proud to have been able to play a part in the renovation of the Ford’s family home and hope that they are enjoying their new cooker.”
