Britannia Living encourages kids to get cooking

#KidsKitchen aims to inspire kids and parents alike to get their chef hats on over the summer holidays. Those who follow the brand on social media and share pictures using the hashtag will be in with a chance of winning prizes of an ice cream maker and young chef’s baking kits, courtesy of Bigjigs Toys.

Britannia Living marketing manager Michael Haigh said: “We’re building a great social community and this month we’re looking forward to seeing what kids are getting up to in the kitchen over their summer holidays.”

Every month for the rest of the year, Britannia’s campaign will offer inspiration in kitchen decor and styling through images and mood boards, inviting consumers to share their kitchen experiences, as well as giving them the opportunity to win prizes. Last month’s #CoolKitchen campaign saw the company team up with ice cream company Snugburys to offer a month’s supply of ice cream to one winner.

Michael Haigh said: “Our campaign is providing a different focus each month and got off to a strong start in July. Social media is a key focus for us. We’ve already generated an additional 1.8 million brand impressions since the start of 2014 and the aim is to continue building on this by engaging with all types of consumer.”
