Brand Showcase ‘grows exponentially’ at Exclusively Shows

The organiser of the Exclusively Shows has announced that the upcoming event’s Brand Showcase is ‘going from strength to strength’ and has ‘grown exponentially’ with 50% more exhibitors taking compared with 2018 and more visitors booked to attend than ever before.

Now in its third year, the Brand Showcase is an opportunity for exhibitors to get their products in front of consumer journalists, editors and bloggers. It is described as ‘fundamentally an edit of the main show itself, dedicated to promoting exhibitors to the British lifestyle press and leading media influencers in one space quickly and effectively’.

The 2019 Brand Showcase exhibitors are: Addis, AEG, AirCraft Vacuums, Amefa, Auteur, Barista, Black+Blum, Blue Canyon, Burton McCall, Denby, Doulton Water Filters, Dualit, Eddingtons, Evo Lifestyle, FKA Brands, Forma House, Haus Marketing and Distribution, Kuhn Rikon, Smidge, Huski Home, Ladelle, LSA, Kuhn Rikon, Melitta, Meyer, Millo, Mistral Brands, OXO, Ritterwerk, Robert Welch Designs, Royal Doulton, Scott Gear, Simplehuman, Sistema, SMA Worldwide, Smartwares Group, T&G Woodware, Tatay, The DRH Collection, UK Thermos, Tradestock and Tramontina.

PR consultant Richard Watts, who manages The Brand Showcase, said: “We can attribute the growth of the Showcase to: its growing reputation within the lifestyle media sector, the unique format we offer, and the incredible list of quality exhibitors signing up to be a part of the event – which is now considered the UK’s premier press showcase of housewares, tabletop and small domestic appliance brands.’’

He noted that last year, 100 members of the press attended the Showcase but this year’s figure is “is looking to triple, with well over 300 confirming their interest to visit”. These include representatives from BuzzFeed, ‘The Sunday Times’ ‘Evening Standard’, ‘Sainsbury’s magazine’, ‘The Sun on Sunday’, ‘Iweekend’, ‘Ideal home’, ‘Woman & Home’, ‘Good Food’, ‘Hello!’, ‘Daily Mail,’ ITV’s ‘This Morning’, ITV’s ‘Loose Women’ and C4’s ‘Sunday Brunch’.

Richard added: “The response from influencers has been outstanding too. With a potential audience reach of over 5 million, influencers have become significant in their role of promoting products to consumers. A few notable names include the Queen of Clean, Lean Student Chef, Little House in London, Popcorn & Pyjamas, Little Miss Mops, Jottie’s Journal, This Girl Can Organise and Bustle.com.”

He explained: “We have reached out to a wide audience over the last few months, inviting more relevant influencers, consumer and broadcast media than ever before. I’m overwhelmed by the level of acceptance and enthusiasm for the event. It’s incredibly exciting both for us at Exclusively Shows and the industry as a whole.’’

Will Jones, chief operating officer of BHETA (British Home Enhancement Trade Association), which owns and operates the Exclusively Shows, said: “The Brand Showcase offers exhibitors an excellent opportunity to position their products in front of press, influencers and bloggers. The end result is that the message very quickly finds it way directly to the key target audience – the consumer – via social media channels and print.”

Co-located London trade shows Exclusively Housewares and Exclusively Electrical will take place on June 11 and June 12 at the Business Design Centre in Islington. The Brand Showcase is located in the media centre housed in the atrium above Exclusively Electrical.
