The Brand & Lifestyle Licensing Awards (B&LLA) 2017 are now open for entries and nominations.
After The B&LLA’s’ successful debut this year, the 2017 programme will build on rewarding excellence in brand licensed merchandise and IP management as well as retail execution.
Entering and nominating is free of charge via online submission at www.brandlicensingawards.co.uk. The deadline is February 17.
Owned and organised by Max Publishing, the Awards’ headline sponsor is Trade show Brand Licensing Europe. Its brand director Anna Knight said: “We are committed to supporting and celebrating excellence in brand licensing, and collaborating with the B&LLA is a great opportunity to do just that.”
Worldwide licensing trade association LIMA is officially supporting The B&LLA. LIMA UK managing director Kelvyn Gardner said: “Brands have really stepped up into the licensing limelight and the B&LLA duly recognise excellence in this field.”
Names who have pledged their support as sponsors include TLC, Beanstalk, CPLG, Start Licensing, Golden Goose, Pinkey Consulting, Those Licensing People, Happy Jackson, Octane 5 and Autumn Fair.
The winners will be unveiled at an afternoon event held at The Dorchester hotel on London’s Park Lane on April 27, which is expected to attract more than 375 retailers, licensees, brand owners and licensing representatives.
The 2016 product category winners included: Best Licensed Brand Gifting Product or Range: Guinness Giftware Collection from Newbridge Silverware and Best Licensed Brand Home And Garden Product or Range: Ted Baker Portmeirion Rosie Lee Collection from Portmeirion.
