Housewares supplier Brabantia has collaborated with Irish designer Orla Kiely to create an exclusive capsule collection.
Known for her retro-inspired lifestyle collection – from ready-to-wear clothes to furniture – Orla has teamed up with Brabantia to design a print for its Retro bin.
Her world-famous stem design has now taken root on the Retro Bin. The sprig and leaf motif is available in cream on charcoal with an orange lid, and charcoal on cream with a yellow lid.
Orla said: “Brabantia are a company that I have admired for many years. Their products are of a high quality and very functional. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to collaborate with them. We have added some fun to an object that we all use every day. I would be very happy to have one of the bins in my kitchen at home.”

Brabantia Retro Bins come with a 10-year guarantee. The Charcoal Linear and Cream Linear Stem designs are available in 12 litre (£95), 20 litre (£122) and 30 litre (£132) sizes. Exclusive to John Lewis in store and online until April, the new collection will then be available from leading retailers, independents and www.brabantia.com.
