Especially designed for all organic kitchen waste is a new range of 100% biodegradable and compostable bin liners from Brabantia.
Vegetable peelings, mouldy fruit and used coffee grounds can all be composted but also make a dirty, soggy mess at the bottom of the food waste bin. The liners are designed to allow householders to store and then carry their organic waste straight from the kitchen to the food waste collection bin without the messy performance of emptying it from the bin first.
The liners, supplied in rolls of 10, are now available in three sizes – 10, 12 and 18 litre – to fit a range of Brabantia’s smaller and recycling bins. The right size liner for bin can be chosen by matching the colour code on the replacement bin liner to the one inside the bin.
Made from strong, 100% natural starch-based material, the bags are fully biodegradable and can be disposed of along with their contents. They can also be used in local authority green or waste food collection bins where plastic bags are prohibited.
They are certified biodegradable and compostable to the highest European standard for compostable packaging, EN 13432.
