Bira Retail supports Rainy Day Trust with Valentine’s raffle prizes

Industry charity Rainy Day Trust continues in its fundraising efforts during lockdown with a Valentine’s Day raffle of two luxury hampers and a bottle of champagne generously donated by bira Retail. Tickets are just £2, and with only 500 available Rainy Day Trust CEO Bryan Clover is urging people to buy tickets – and soon, as the raffle closes on 8th February! It is hosted on the site here [actual link:

“We’re extremely grateful to bira for this donation as every little helps in our continued efforts to raise funds,” says Bryan. “As with many charities during this unprecedented pandemic, we have seen many of our usual fundraising streams dry up – but our industry colleagues still need support. With only 500 tickets available the odds of winning are pretty good.  So please buy a ticket – you know it makes sense!”

The two luxury hampers are worth £75 each and contain a delicious mix of Chorizo, Pork & Onion pate by Cottage Delight, Grandma Wilds Oaty biscuits, Peaches & Prosecco (by Wooden Spoon), a traditional fruit cake, oak-smoked flour & dried chilli crackers and a selection of other delicacies to be enjoyed! The third prize is a bottle of Taittinger Champagne worth £35.  Taittinger is renowned for quality and exceptional taste and will not disappoint!
