The new look site will feature services exclusive to BHETA members, as well as association news and details of events. It will also provide a comprehensive showcase of members’ brands and products for retail buyers in the home improvement, housewares and garden sector to view.
BHETA said: ‘Visually more stimulating and interactive and with greater functionality, the new site will feature an enhanced ‘Retailer Zone’, with real time member listings enabled by BHETA’s CRM [Customer Relationship Management] system installed in 2016.’
To ensure that all members’ brands and products are fully represented, BHETA members will be contacted this month and next and asked to submit information in response to a template of questions.
A soft launch of the new site will take place in November to enable comprehensive review of all content, prior to its official launch to retailers at the Spring Fair in February.
Once launched, BHETA members will be responsible for updating their own listing on the site via a new member portal facility.
