The British Home Enhancement Trade Association (BHETA) will hold its next Meet The Buyer day with John Lewis Partnership.
The event is exclusive to BHETA members and will take place at the Double Tree by Hilton hotel at Victoria in London on April 2. Participating members will be allocated a 20-30 minute appointment time with relevant buyers and assistant buyers from the John Lewis buying team, covering all product sectors. A maximum of two people from each supplier company will be allowed and a template for the presentations has been agreed with John Lewis to ensure that the limited time is put to maximum use.
The department store group is particularly looking for new suppliers who are able to offer a range of new and innovative products that would enhance the retailer’s current offer. This means that existing suppliers wishing to attend must focus on new product outside of current listed business.
BHETA home enhancement sector director Will Jones said: “John Lewis is probably the most well-known and respected department store retailer in the UK with a loyal customer base and is recognised for choice, style, quality and excellent customer service across the wider home enhancement market. This is therefore a unique opportunity for new and existing John Lewis suppliers and as such, is sure to attract a big response.”
