BHETA to hold forum this week for Exclusively exhibitors

The British Home Enhancement Trade Association (BHETA) is holding a half day briefing forum for members planning to exhibit at the Exclusively Housewares and Exclusively Electrical shows.

Held annually in London in June, the co-located Exclusively Housewares and Exclusively Electrical shows are owned and organised by Brooke House Exhibitions on behalf of BHETA.

The event is on Wednesday (March 1) at BHETA’s HQ in Birmingham. It is suitable for those wishing to find out more about upcoming trends in the housewares and small electricals retail market, and how they can be used to influence product displays at the Exclusively shows.

The briefing will also act as an introduction to the shows for first time exhibitors, as the Exclusively team will be on hand to answer any questions and offer advice.

Speakers will include exhibition organiser Simon Boyd who will introduce ‘Tomorrow’s Kitchen’: a new show feature designed to review the latest technological, lifestyle and design advancements within the domestic kitchen, and look ahead to what the future holds.

Simon will share details and drawings of the new feature and highlight how exhibitors can get involved through product demonstrations and product display.

He will also run through the show set up and break down and be available to answer any questions from exhibitors regarding stand requirements.

Phil Pond of design consultancy Scarlet Opus will provide a brief on the key consumer and design trends for Christmas 2017 and spring /summer 2018 and how the show’s trails of ‘On Trend’ product will be chosen.

Exclusively marketing & PR co-ordinator Vanessa Fortnam will run exhibitors through all the marketing opportunities before and during the shows.

BHETA director of housewares Will Jones explained, “More than 60 exhibitors are already booked into BHETA’s show briefing. The Exclusively shows are a very exciting opportunity for suppliers, retailers and opinion formers, having established a reputation for predicting commercial opportunities for the year ahead.”

Companies interested in more information about this event or BHETA’s involvement in Exclusively overall can contact Will Jones on wj@bheta.co.uk or the BHETA member services team on 0121 237 1130.
