BHETA sponsors ‘a ‘not to be missed’ insight at Exclusively shows

The British Home Enhancement Trade Association (BHETA) is to sponsor a new programme of content at this year’s Exclusively Housewares and its sister show Exclusively Electrical.

The co-located shows will run on Tuesday, June 14 and Wednesday, June 15 at the Business Design Centre in north London. The programme will comprise trend tours and an on trend display area.

The trend tours will be based around ranges and products submitted by exhibitors and assessed by trend forecaster Scarlet Opus.

Selected products will also be included in the on-trend trend display area, identified on stand and flagged up in the show preview, show catalogue and show signage. The on-trend area will also include a Christmas window display to give retailers ideas on how to translate forecasted trends into practical merchandising.

The two shows will also include free trend seminars and briefings from market research company GfK; John Ryan, stores editor of weekly business magazine ‘Retail Week’; and Phil Pond of Scarlet Opus, who will be available to consult during the rest of the show.

BHETA sector director of housewares Will Jones said: “This is a very exciting opportunity for suppliers, retailers and opinion formers in the media. After all, with consumer trends now global and influencing everyone with an interest in home interiors, the tours and seminars will be a fantastic chance to understand trends evolving from season to season.

“This will be a ‘not to be missed’ insight for designers, manufacturers, importers, distributors, retail buyers and all those key consumer influencers in the media.”
