BHETA looks to be on course to fail tomorrow in its bid to form a “super federation”.
The poll run by HousewaresLive.net this week, inviting BHETA members to show how they intend to vote at Thursday’s extraordinary general meeting, suggests that the association’s proposed merger with the BJGF will be rejected by a significant majority.
At around 5pm today (Wednesday) our poll showed 30% in favour of the merger but 57% against. Ten per cent were undecided and 3% would not be voting.
HousewaresLive.net emphasises that the poll is in no way definitive, and is merely an indication of the way in which the BHETA vote might go. We will be providing full coverage of the real result following Thursday’s meeting.
