BHETA is following up its Homebase Meet the Buyers day initiative with a second such event, this time with Robert Dyas.
Providing a unique opportunity for housewares and DIY suppliers to interact with a major retailer outside of the usual buying channels, the event is scheduled for March 29 adjacent to Robert Dyas’ head office in Leatherhead, Surrey.
It is open exclusively to BHETA members and aims to pinpoint trading opportunities that might not otherwise have been recognised so quickly.
Robert Dyas is a major player in the homewares, hardware and garden market, operating out of 98 stores.
“For such a significant industry player to work like this with the industry trade association is both progressive and exciting,” commented BHETA’s housewares executive director, Will Jones. “It demonstrates that in spite of disappointing news in some areas of the DIY and housewares sectors, there are organisations forging ahead with new ideas designed to provide suppliers and retailers with new, cooperative inspiration.”
