The British Home Enhancement Trade Association (BHETA) is welcoming Claire Fletcher, Category Manager at Ocado to present a virtual forum to members on May 19th at 10.30. Claire will be focussing on cookware, bakeware, tools, gadgets, storage and stationery products, as well as items that fir within an eco and recyclable brief.
The webinar will be followed on June 29th by a BHETA / Ocado Meet The Buyer event.
In February, Ocado reported a leap in full-year sales as demand for online grocery during the pandemic grew in what the retailer says is a permanent shift in consumer shopping habits. Its revenue has grown 35% year on year to £2.2bn.
The online grocery retailer opened its first international customer fulfilment centres during the last year and its first Ocado Zoom micro site in west London ahead of schedule, with a further dozen sites planned within the M25 to support the group’s growth plans and ambition of ‘changing the way the world shops.’
Commenting on the forthcoming event, BHETA’s Chief Operating Officer, Will Jones, “This is a great opportunity to speak directly to a hugely growing force in retail and a pioneer of the online model.
