Housewares Business-to-business magazine for housewares retailers and their suppliers
Bentalls is one of five retailers to be named as Global Honorees in this year’s Global Innovator Awards, sponsored by Chicago’s International Home + Housewares Show and the International Housewares Association.
The awards, made at last week’s show, recognise housewares retail innovation and merchandising excellence at the international retail level.
A global jury judged the entrants on the basis of successful operations, depth of product offer, innovative business practices, innovative in-store merchandising displays/techniques, in-store promotions, external marketing/promotions, quality of customer service and breadth and depth of employee training.
Along with Bentalls, AlumiDécor of Poland, Les Touilleurs of Canada, Cranfields of New Zealand and Top3 by design of Australia were honoured.
A GIA celebration was held on Sunday night, and the merchandising visuals of each winner were featured at the show in a special display.
