Argos launches Autumn/Winter range

The Home Retail Group owned Argos chain has launched its new Autumn/Winter 2014 range, with more than 43,000 products available across homewares, furniture, toys, and technology.

The new range includes over 8,000 new lines, with nearly 10,000 prices either lowered or frozen, and is available on and in more than 700 stores nationwide. Argos said shoppers could take advantage of over 500 “WOW” deals, featured across its catalogue, website, mobile site and apps. Online prices are checked and updated daily; internet sales now represent 44% of all Argos sales.

Housewares highlights from the new range include the new homewares and furniture brand Heart of House. Exclusively available at Argos, it offers more than products, from Egyptian cotton towels to white porcelain dinner sets.
Also exclusive to Argos, theColourMatch range offers more than 700 products available for all rooms in the house in a choice of 16 different shades across pastels, neutrals and brights, plus spots and stripes for pattern lovers.

And in its 50th anniversary year, Habitat offers an edit of 1,300 new and classic Habitat designed products from the full catalogue, available through Argos stores across the UK and online. Finally, for the kitchen, theTefal Optigrill returns this season while appliance brand Bella joins with an exclusive collection of kettles and toasters.

Argos chief operating officer David Robinson said: “As well as having must-have products and top brands, our mission is to be at the forefront of the digital wave, helping customers to browse and buy whenever and wherever they want. Our website and apps received nearly 740 million hits over the past year, while shopping by mobile grew 89% to account for 18% of total sales. Supporting our online offer, we are rolling out more digital concept stores which combine the speed and ease of online shopping with the convenience of a physical presence on the high street.”

Argos offers a total of 43,000 products through, its growing mobile channels, stores and over the telephone. It serves around 123 million customers a year through its network of 734 stores.
