Anthropologie expands to Guildford and Westfield

Homeware and fashion retailer Anthropologie has opened its first English store outside London.

The US chain’s three branches in the capital – at Kings Road, Regent Street and the ground floor of Selfridges department store on Oxford Street – have now been joined by a shop in the Surrey town of Guildford at 149 High Street.

The group has also launched a pop-up shop at Westfield shopping centre in west London. This features ‘a special edit of our new collection which focuses on getting ready for Christmas – from readying the home for guests and hosting gatherings, to plenty of gift inspiration for loved ones’.

Founded in 1992, Anthropologie offers a mix of clothing, accessories, gifts and home décor. There are a total of 182 Anthropologie stores throughout Europe and America and also at anthropologie.eu and anthropologie.com.

The company is owned by Urban Outfitters, Inc. (URBN), which also owns retail brands BHLDN, Free People, Terrain and Urban Outfitters.
