Amefa UK, the new owner of Richardson Sheffield, has added its name to the list of sponsors of Britain’s Best Retailer Awards.
The company will be putting its name to Britain’s Best Multiple Housewares Retailer Award.
Managing director Martin Russell commented: “We’re delighted to be involved with this year’s Awards as a major player in the cutlery and knife categories.
“We felt it was important to put something back into the industry and be part of an Award scheme that helps recognise businesses that are setting the pace in today’s highly-competitive environment.”
Amefa UK bought Richardson Sheffield after it went into administration last month, saying that Richardsons’ kitchen knife portfolio would be a perfect complement to its own concentration on cutlery.
