The company will be putting its name to Britain’s Best Multiple Housewares Retailer Award.

Managing director Martin Russell commented: “We’re delighted to be involved with this year’s Awards as a major player in the cutlery and knife categories.

“We felt it was important to put something back into the industry and be part of an Award scheme that helps recognise businesses that are setting the pace in today’s highly-competitive environment.”

Amefa UK bought Richardson Sheffield after it went into administration last month, saying that Richardsons’ kitchen knife portfolio would be a perfect complement to its own concentration on cutlery.

The Awards honour the very best in retailing skills and achievement and culminate in the Awards gala dinner, which this year takes place at The Hilton, Manchester Deansgate on November 7. For more information please contact Elanor Sayers at elanor.sayers@fav-house.com.

Britain’s Best Retailer Awards are organised by HousewaresLive.net, Housewares Magazine, DIY Week and Hardware & Garden Review.
