The winners were announced at an evening ceremony held during the AIS Kitchenware, China, Glass, Cutlery & Small Electrical Sale Show which took place from March 3-5 at the AIS offices in Cranmore Park, Solihull. Awards were given in a range of categories to recognise outstanding quality, sales and service to AIS members.

Horwood scooped the coveted Supplier of the Year title, while the Product of the Year award went to Wax Lyrical’s Christmas promotions: reed diffusers & twin wick candles. The Best Stand at the show accolade was given to WWRD for its “beautifully laid out” presentation.

The award for the Biggest Financial Increase from any company within housewares for 2014 was won by RKW and the Most Promising New Supplier award went to Charles Viancin.

Finally, AIS asked members to nominate a company rep or national sales manager who had provided the most outstanding support to retailers. The winner of the award for Providing Outstanding Support to AIS Members was named as Ruth Posey, national sales manager of Denby Pottery.
