The Professional Cookware Company has launched a new-pans-for-old scheme.
In The Great Pan Amnesty the housewares chain is urging the nation to exchange its old saucepans for a 10% discount on its ProCook collection. Running from March 31 to May 18, the promotion also hopes to raise funds for healthcare charity Sue Ryder Care through the sale of the unwanted saucepans via the charity’s shops.
Professional Cookware Company managing director Daniel O’Neill said: “The Great Pan Amnesty encourages people to pop into their local Professional Cookware Company store with anything from one of granny’s old aluminium pans or auntie’s old fryer to a whole set of worn-out 1970’s saucepans, and exchange it for any of our ProCook ranges of Gourmet, T304 stainless steel, T304 anodised, Elite tri-ply stainless steel, Elite anodised or titanium cookware.
“All the old pans that we receive will be passed on to the charity’s shops for resale or recycling.”
Money raised from the sale of unwanted saucepans will help people with multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease, cancer and stroke.
People can drop their old saucepans to any of The Professional Cookware Company’s 38 stores across the country.
