‘Incredible’ 12 months for ProCook

Specialist kitchenware retailer ProCook is celebrating its most successful year on record.

The company, with 22 stores nationwide, posted a 20% rise in sales for the past 12 months, driven by an ‘ongoing strong performance right across the business’.

Like-for-like retail performance climbed 16%, with ecommerce sales posted comparable growth of 29%.The combined performance from both channels resulted in total sales of just under £16m, with a growth in EBITDA to around £2.4m.

During the period, ProCook expanded its store portfolio with a new branch in Resorts World Centre in Birmingham and acquired a new headquarters which, it said, ‘significantly increases operating capacity, ahead of further anticipated growth’.

ProCook founder Daniel O’Neill said: “It really has been an incredible 12 months for everyone at ProCook. We’ve seen better performance in all areas of the business, with more customers coming through the doors and spending more when they do.

“The business growth has been dramatic and, with the impending move to our new HQ, the future looks extremely positive.”

ProCook also celebrated picking up two wins in the 2015 eCommerce awards. The company says it harbours further expansion plans for both its ecommerce and retail operations.

ProCook ceo Steve Sanders said: “This was ProCook’s most successful year ever and clearly illustrates how continuing to focus on our core brand and its values is delivering stunning results.

“Within our outlets, and to a growing number of web customers, we are now becoming a specialist destination.”

ProCook was founded 20 years ago and supplies kitchenware products for up for 50% less than other brands. Headquartered in Gloucester, it has stores throughout Britain.
