Fitness expert Joe Wicks is coming to our screens tonight (Monday August 29) in a new show.
‘Joe Wicks: The Body Coach’ airs on Channel 4 from 7.10pm to 8pm. In this one-off programme, the Instagram sensation brings his unique brand of nutrition and exercise to the masses to help the nation get fit.
Joe enrolls fellow Brits to join his fitness revolution, giving them a choice of 30-, 60- and 90-day training periods, to show what can be achieved, “when you put your mind and body to it, the Wicks way”.
He meets police officer Susan, who wants to feel body confident in time for her family holiday, and couple Brett and Kate, who want to trim down before their wedding. All three agree to the 90-day plan.
He also turns up at well-known locations across the UK, giving the general public a healthy boost of body confidence with his flashmob workouts.
Joe has already helped thousands of people become fitter and healthier through his popular food and exercise plan. Two of his books currently lead the ‘Mail on Sunday’ best-selling non-fiction paperbacks chart.
At number one is ‘Lean in 15 – The Shape Plan: 15 minute meals with workouts to build a strong, lean body’ which introduces a new way of eating and training to build lean muscle and burn more fat. In the book, Joe shares 100 recipes and four new workouts. At number two is ‘Lean In 15’, which features 15 minute meals and workouts.
