What More UK adds Azerbaijan to its export list

What More UK is celebrating its first secured and delivered order to Azerbaijan.

The country joins a 72-strong list of international destinations that receive shipments from the Lancashire plastic housewares manufacturer, including The United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, Nigeria and Canada.

What More UK director Tony Grimshaw OBE said: “Congratulations to our brilliant sales team and all their hard work, which has made this happen. The international market knows the ‘Made in Britain’ stamp means quality, and this is what we always strive to promote with our products.

“It gives me great pride to know our products are manufactured using great Lancastrian expertise, knowledge and massive enthusiasm to do it right every time. These products are then used all over the world – and we are privileged to have such an enthusiastic bunch of colleagues who make this possible.”

He added: “This also couldn’t have been done without the support from The East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce and The Department for International Trade. We are looking forward to more orders in the future from Azerbaijan, and adding even more destinations to our list.”

Operating out of a 500,000sq ft manufacturing base in Burnley, What More UK’s products include household storage, bakeware, DIY toolboxes, organizers, garden pots, pet care, food storage and wooden brushes – all under the brand name Wham. Over recent years it has been selectively expanding its ranges, with the acquisition of the patented leak-proof bakeware brand PushPan in 2015, and the 2017 launch of the Baker & Salt brand of non-stick bakeware and enamelware, which is pressed and enamelled in North England.
