Virgin Vie extends in-home selling to homewares

Virgin Vie at Home, which sells cosmetics and jewellery direct to consumers in their own homes, has now launched a homewares collection.

Products cover a range of tabletop lines such as ceramics and glassware, along with bedding, throws and cushions. The company claims to be the first UK-based direct selling company to introduce a concept homewares range.

The home consultations are hosted by trained Virgin Vie At Home advisors, who can offer design advice, explain the trend inspiration behind new collections and highlight unique selling points.

The company points out that the concept eliminates the hassle of high street shopping and offers customers the chance to match up colours and styles with their existing interior products. It also says that because the consultants have time on their side they can talk through each product in detail.

In addition, it says that Virgin Vie At Home homewares offer people with a flair for interior design a chance to set up their own business.
