Time for Tendence

Doors opened to German trade show Tendence yesterday (Saturday August 27).

The exhibition, which runs until next Tuesday (August 30) in Frankfurt, is described by organiser Messe Frankfurt as ‘Germany’s most international and biggest order fair for consumer goods in the second half of the year’.

The fair offers an extensive range of products, from housewares and furnishings, to decorating, giftware, jewellery and fashion accessories.

At the event, top brands and key players present their wares – giving the national and European retail trade the opportunity to place follow-up orders for the Christmas season. At the same time, they show their collections for the upcoming spring and summer seasons.

Last year, 37% of exhibitors hailed from 47 different countries, excluding Germany. “This illustrates the relevance of the fair for the retail trade,” said Philipp Ferger, group show director of Tendence.
