The Housewares Innovation Awards 2018 are open for entry!

Entries and nominations have opened for The Housewares Innovation Awards 2018 – the most coveted awards in the UK housewares industry.

Organised annually by Housewares Magazine and its digital partner HousewaresLive.net, in conjunction with Spring Fair, the Awards honour the UK’s most outstanding housewares companies for their innovation, creativity and business impact.

Suppliers and retailers will be competing in more than 20 categories including Best Service, Best Buyer and Best Independent Cook Shop.

There are four new categories for 2018, introduced to reflect and reward work in particularly fast-growing and dynamic sectors of the industry.

Best In-Store Cookery School/Cookery Demonstrations, sponsored by School of Wok, will honour retailers who demonstrate a creative and proactive approach to sales by hosting in-store demos.

Best Hospitality Wholesaler, sponsored by KitchenCraft, will highlight wholesalers that are expanding by providing housewares products to the catering and hotel industry.

Best Staff Training, sponsored by Dexam, will recognise companies that provide ongoing product training to staff, ensuring that consumers are presented with the relevant knowledge and advice to inform their purchasing decisions.

And the Best New Supplier category will give up-and-coming companies a chance to shine.

The deadline for entries to be submitted is October 23. For full details and entry/nomination forms, go to www.housewaresinnovationawards.com

The results will be announced at a prestigious evening ceremony on February 5 at Birmingham’s National Motorcycle Museum.
