New distributor for Australian cookbooks

Distribution of the Australian Women’s Weekly cookery books, currently handled by Australian Consolidated Press (UK), is to change hands.

Octopus Publishing Group has bought the licence for all future sales, marketing and publishing of AWW books throughout the UK and existing export markets in Europe and the Middle East, effective from July 1 this year.

Orders should be addressed as usual to ACP in Northampton until March 31, but from April 1 all orders will be processed by and delivered from the OPG warehouse of Littlehampton Book Services. However, housewares and cookshop customers will continue to see ACP personnel until June 30.

Any orders received by ACP after April 1 for regular stock orders for delivery before June 30, will be automatically forwarded to LBS.

The existing ACP team is not relocating to the London offices of OPG, which is headed by Sarah Bailey as publisher.

Orders from April 1 should be sent to orders@lbsltd.co.uk
