The charity is better off to the tune of £2,500
Members of the housewares and related industries donated a total of £1,972 on the night, and contributions are still coming in. When tax relief is taken into account the final figure will effectively be over £2,750.
The Rainy Day Trust charity exists to care for people in difficult times who have worked in the housewares and hardware industry for more than 10 years.
