New cookshop opens in Dublin

A new cookshop opens its doors in the heart of Dublin’s Blackrock Village today (Tuesday October 10).

At 2b Main Street, The Triggerfish Cookshop is dedicated to cookware, kitchenware and tableware.

Owner Bob Toal said: “Our focus is on quality, function and design. There will be a revolving range of products from around the culinary globe, to match each season. You will not find many of our brands anywhere else in Ireland.

“Design and the latest innovations will also be showcased, giving a platform to Irish designers and artisans where possible. Our mantra is that ‘better tools equate to better cooking’.”

The independent retailer noted that the space, which is designed by Dublin-based DUA Architects, “will be going beyond the usual cookshop into more of a concept space”.

The Triggerfish Cookshop offers a wedding registry service and plans to hold events, talks, book signings and demonstrations in-store.
